Praline Pecans

250o 30 minutes

300o 15 minutes & then 10 minutes


1 lb pecans

2 egg whites

1 cup sugar

½ tsp salt

1 stick butter



Place pecans on cookie sheet and roast at 250o for 30 minutes

In mixer, beat egg whites until stiff and then add the sugar and salt

Stir in pecans

Melt the stick of butter and place directly on the cookie sheet

Spread the pecan mixture over the butter and sprinkle with cinnamon

Bake at 300o for 15 minutes

Remove from oven and stir

Place back in oven and bake for 5-10 minutes

Cool completely and store in airtight container
