Chicken Mushroom Bake


350o 1 hour 15 minutes


1-1/4 cup UNcooked rice

2 carrots, peeled and chopped

1 pkg (1.2oz) dry onion soup mix

1 can (10-3/4oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

1-1/4 cup water

3 to 3-1/2 lbs chicken

½ lb fresh mushrooms, sliced


Mix rice and carrots in bottom of 9×13 baking dish

In medium bowl, mix all other ingredients

Pour about 1/3 of the mixture over the rice

Place chicken in dish and scatter mushrooms over chicken

Pour remaining mixture over top

Cover with foil
