Scalloped Potatoes

SCALLOPED POTATOES

350o 3 hours (approx.)

INGREDIENTS

Red skin potatoes, peeled & sliced

Butter, softened

Flour

Salt

Pepper

Milk

Onion, if desired

Sharp cheese of your choice

NOTE: Usually make one potato per person, plus one for the pot

DIRECTIONS

  1. Clean, peel and slice potatoes (approx. ½” thick)
  2. Grease cooking dish with butter
  3. Layer as follows:
    1. Potato, onion, salt, pepper, flour and milk
    2. Use your finger and moisten the flour with the milk
    3. Add sharp cheese of your choice
    4. Repeat from “a-d” ending with cheese
  4. Bake
