Chunky Chicken Bake

CHUNKY CHICKEN BAKE

INGREDIENTS

12oz egg noodles

3 cups broccoli flowerets

2 cans (10oz each) cream of chicken soup

1-1/2 cups milk

2 cups chicken, cooked & cubed

3 cups sliced mushrooms

½ tsp paprika

¼ cup Italian bread crumbs

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven

Spray large casserole dish with cooking spray

In a large frying pan, cook chicken until cooked through, cube and set aside.

In a medium pot, add water & a little salt and cook noodles

At the same time, in a large pot, bring a small amount of water to a boil. Place broccoli in a steamer basket (or just the pot), cover and let steam just until crisp-tender (about 5 minutes)

In a medium bowl, whisk together soup and milk.  Stir broccoli, chicken, mushrooms and paprika in.  Mix well

Drain noodles.  Place half the noodles in the casserole dish. Spoon half of the chicken mixture over the noodles.  Repeat layering.

Sprinkle with bread crumbs

Bake until golden
